Our Mission
Child & Family Services, Inc. (CFS, Inc.) is a Head Start and Early Head Start agency dedicated to serving children and families in Lea County, New Mexico.
We provide comprehensive early childhood education, health, nutrition, and family support services to help children from birth to age five build the foundation they need for lifelong success.

Founded
CFS, Inc. is Established
Patricia Evans founds Child & Family Services, Inc. with a vision to provide quality early childhood education to families in Lea County, New Mexico.
Growth
Expansion
Early Head Start Added
Expanding services to infants and toddlers, CFS, Inc. launches Early Head Start to support families from the very beginning of a child’s life.
Serving Lea County
Today, CFS, Inc. operates multiple centers across Lea County, providing Head Start, Early Head Start, and the Summer Food Program to hundreds of children and families.
